Please carefully review the following terms and conditions. The use of our website and the use of our services constitute your acceptance of the full and complete service agreement between you (“the client”) and Bright N Shine Cleaning Care for the provision of services by BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE. Please make sure that you understand these terms and conditions fully and if you have questions regarding these terms and conditions please forward them to our email address at info@brightnshinecleaning.com.au

  1. Terminology:

1.1  “Client,” “you,” and “your” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the provision of services by BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE.

1.2  “The company,” “we,” “BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE,” and “us,” refers to our company, BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE.

1.3  “Cleaners,” “workers,” or “professionals,” “contractors” refer to the people that BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE will send to provide cleaning or other services for our clients, requested by our clients.

1.4  All terms refer to the offer, acceptance, and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client, in respect of the company’s stated terms and conditions.

  1. About Us:

2.1  Bright N Shine Cleaning Care is a company legally registered in Australia. BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE is a company that provides cleaning services such as bond cleaning, indoor/outdoor cleaning, and other domestic or commercial cleaning services. BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE’s ABN is 45456683951

  1. The Agreement:

3.1  These terms and conditions will be constituted as legally binding between you (the client) and Bright N Shine Cleaning Care through the use of our services.

3.2  Once the client has confirmed that they wish to proceed with a booking of our services in writing or via email, a legally binding contract is made between the client and BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE.

3.3  BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE reserves the right to modify any of these terms and conditions at any time. Therefore, it is the client’s responsibility to periodically review these terms and conditions for any updates or changes.

3.4  BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE holds no responsibility for the loss, damage or any injury incurred as a result of the customer being at the site.  The premises where work is being carried out is deemed unsafe and slippery by BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE until such work have been completed.  Customers have the right to inspect the property any time but BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE will take no responsibility for any safety risks for the customers.

  1. Providing Cleaning Services:

4.1  Subject to the terms of this terms and conditions agreement, the cleaning or other services to be provided by BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE, will be for such specifics as agreed with between the client and BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE, to the client at the property address specified by the client at the time of the booking of services.

4.2  BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE agrees to provide one or more cleaners, depending on the services required at the time of the booking, to attend the premises to provide the services as requested by the client, at a time and date mutually agreed between the client and BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE.

4.3  BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE will complete the services requested by the client fully. However, should BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE believe that additional time and labour is required on top of the requested services, BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE Cleaner will endeavor to contact the clients and advice the additional time/payment required to complete the service. Should BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE be unable to contact the client, no additional labour or services will be provided and the service will not be deemed as fully completed by BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE, thereby voiding the bond back guarantee.

  1. Modifications to the Services or Terms:

5.1  Any amendments requested by the client to be made to the services to be provided by BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE must be agreed by BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE prior to the service time in writing.

5.2  If the client requests any additional services or modifications to the services at the time of the services are being performed, the client must contact BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE in writing, who may then decide whether to agree to the services or modifications requested by the client. Under no circumstances are the cleaners or workers authorised to agree to any requested amendments to the services being provided. The client must also take notice to not make any requests for modifications to services directly from the cleaner or worker.

  1. Responsibilities of the Client and Our Company

6.1  The client acknowledges the following responsibilities:

6.1.1        The client will provide a safe working environment at the job site for the cleaner or worker to perform the service.

6.1.2        The client will provide the cleaner or worker with unencumbered and unobstructed access to all areas of the job site requiring the service.

6.1.3        The client will provide the cleaner or worker access to any resources required by the cleaner to perform their services including but not limited to hot water, cold water, electricity, and a garbage disposal area.

6.1.4        The client authorises BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE and their cleaners the use of the indicated property address until the completion of services as required by the client.

6.1.5        The client is asked to ensure they pay attention to remove any fragile, delicate, breakable or valuable items including but limited to cash, jewellery, artworks, antiques, or any items of value prior to the commencement of the provision of our services.

6.1.6        If our cleaner is required to clean behind or under any heavy items such as a fridge, the client will be required to move these items prior to the commencement of service. Any items moved by the client before, during, or after the provision of our services will be at the client’s sole risk. If heavy items are not moved, our cleaners will not be responsible to clean behind these items. Our cleaners are not responsible to move any heavy items.

6.1.7        Regarding bond cleaning services, it is the client’s responsibility to inform BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE of the time and date of the agent inspection and of the key handover process, so that BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE can ensure cleaning can be done on time.

6.2  Our company acknowledges the following responsibilities:

6.2.1        BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE agree to be responsible for providing the client the services of our cleaners or workers in order to carry out the duties as requested by the client at a time and a date mutually agreed between BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE and the client.

6.2.2        The cleaners/workers provided by BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE are professional, trained, and experienced people in the various areas of domestic, commercial, and other cleaning services.

6.2.3        BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE will endeavour to provide the client with services that are professional, timely, diligently, and dependably.

6.2.4        Our company will provide all the necessary cleaning tools, equipment, and materials required by the cleaner or worker to provide the services as agreed with the client.

  1. Workplace health and safety concerns:

7.1  Our cleaner reserve the right to perform a safety risk analysis at any job site prior or during the commencement of the work/services and they have the right to terminate and vacate the premises at any time if their health and safety area at risk from any possible cause at their own discretion.

7.2  If the cleaner believes the job site or premise is a danger to his/her health and safety, either prior or during the commencement of the work/services, the cleaner reserves the right to terminate the services and vacate the premises immediately.

7.3  Our cleaner reserves the right to terminate the use of any chemicals or cleaning equipment, either before or during the provision of a service, if the cleaner believes the use of such materials or cleaning equipment poses a threat to their health and safety.

  1. Price quotations:

8.1  Any price quotes given by BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE are valid for a period of 30 days from the date of the quote and are estimated amounts only, based on the information provided by the client at the time of the inquiry. Actual quotes at the sight of the premises may have a different amount.

8.2  Any price quotes given at the time of the customer inquiry are based on the description given by the customer, and the price quote may change if upon sighting of the property, if it is deemed to be larger than the average house based on the number of usable rooms, such as bedrooms, lounge rooms, and bathrooms, etc.

8.3  Initial price quotes given by BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE may change if upon sighting of the property by our cleaners that it is unreasonably untidy and dirty, and such information was not mentioned by the client at the time of the inquiry.

8.4  Initial price quotes given by BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE may change if upon sighting of the property by our cleaners that the house has actually more rooms than the number of rooms provided by the client at the time of the inquiry. The difference in the prices due to the variance in number of rooms of the house must be payable immediately by the client, otherwise the provision of services will be terminated and the client will be charged a termination fee of 50% of the total costs.

8.5  In the case that during the provision of services BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE deemed that the cost for a fully complete service will exceed the initial price quoted by BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE, BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE will contact the client and provide the client with several options. First, the client may choose to pay the additional amount for a fully completed service in order to activate our bond back guarantee. Second, the client may refuse to pay the additional amount and choose to pay the initial price quote, without the service deemed fully complete by BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE, and thus forfeit their claim to our bond back guarantee. Third, alternatively the client may choose to cancel the provision of services and be charged a termination fee of 50% of the total costs.

8.6   The client acknowledges that unless stated otherwise, a general price quote for a general bond cleaning service does not include the following services. Additional fees will incur if the client requires the provision of these services.

  • The washing of any walls (only spot cleaning of walls are included)
  • any furniture cleaning inside out
  • Moving of heavy furniture when cleaning.
  • cleaning of external windows
  • the washing or cleaning of any blinds, curtains or verticals to remove any marks, stains, or grease (only includes the wipe down of dusts)
  • wash or clean of painted walls and exterior of the property such as balconies, gardens, and garages
  • upholstery cleaning
  • cleaning of ceilings
  • Tile and Grout Cleaning
  • Mould Treatment
  • cleaning of curtains
  • washing or wiping of timber/wooden and/or venetian blinds
  • carpet cleaning
  • Pet Treatment
  • Flea Treatment
  • high pressure cleaning (outside of house, driveway, etc)

What exactly is Spot cleaning of Wall means?

It is hard to Say exactly since we don’t have a hard definition of it, but generally, a spot cleaning of wall would be when there are only 5 to 6 small areas that need to be cleaned and also takes no more than 10 minutes to clean.

So, things like some fingerprints, some crayon marks, and may be some food splatter in the kitchen in one or two areas would be examples of a spot cleaning.

The key thing to remember is that a spot cleaning of all the walls shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes in total. A spot cleaning is considered as a touch up and not full cleaning of wall. If it takes anything more than 10 minutes or so to have all the walls in your home, would entering into full wall cleaning at additional cost.

 

  1. Service Bookings:

9.1  The client my request the provision of services by BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE by making a booking either by email or on the BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE website: www.brightnshinecleaning.com.au

9.2  When making the booking, the client must provide any details about the property that are unusual such as any hazards, slippery areas, potential risks, and the presence of any dirt or tough grease.

9.3  To finalise the service booking, if paying by bank transfer, the client agrees to complete the full payment at least 3 business days prior to the requested service commencing. The client understands that a copy of the transaction receipt must be provided as proof of payment to BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE. The client understands that if full payment is not made and transaction receipt is not sent to BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE at least 3 business days prior to the service date, the service booking will not be deemed as finalised and the service booking will be cancelled. The client will be required to pay a cancellation fee of $100. In this case, BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE will not be responsible for any problems the client has with the service cancellation.

9.4 To finalise the service booking, if paying by cash, the client agrees to pay the full amount of the total amount due on the date of cleaning when the cleaners arrive, but before the cleaning commences. The client understands that if the full payment is not made before the cleaning commences, the cleaners reserve the right to cancel the service order on site and terminate the cleaning services requested. The client will then be required to pay a cancellation fee of $100. In this case, BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE will not be responsible for any problems the client has with the service cancellation.

9.5  The client provides BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE permission to use the client’s debit or credit card details to charge an amount equal to the provision of services and/or any cancellation fees that may apply for the client under this terms and conditions agreement.

9.6  Our company BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE reserves the right to refuse any booking requests without cause or reason.

9.7  The customer understands and confirms that under the terms and conditions of this agreement, BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE’s bond back guarantee only applies if the provision of services is deemed to be fully complete by BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE. The client understands that if the client refuses any additional labour/services as suggested by BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE, then the provision of services will not be deemed as fully complete, thereby the client voids our bond back guarantee policy.

 

 

  1. Making payments:
  2. Payments may be completed through any BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE acceptable payment methods, in this case, by bank transfer, by card or by cash.
  3. If a booking has been made by the customer at a time and date mutually agreed by both the client and BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE, the customer agrees to make the full payment prior to the provision of services time.
  4. Cancellation fees:
  5. If the client does not want to incur additional fees, the client must inform BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE at least 3 business days prior to the provision of service time if the client intends to delay, cancel, or change the service date for any reason
  6. If sufficient notice was given by the client, BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE will attempt to reschedule the provision of services if still required by the client.
  7. If the client does not provide the required 3 business days’ notice to BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE, then the client agrees to pay an additional modification/cancellation fee of $100 to cover BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE for damages and losses.
  8. Upon arrival at the service premises, if the client does not provide BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE cleaners with a clear access, forcing the cleaner to leave the premise, then the client must pay a cancellation fee of 50% of the total service cost.
  9. No-Show:
  10. If a BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE cleaner does not show up at the premises within 12 hours of the service time, and does not carry on with the provision of services, BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE will endeavour to provide the client with a reschedule of the services at another time and date mutually agreed with the client, within 3 business days of the original time and date.
  11. If the client does not advice BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE in the allotted time period of 3 business days, and the client turns the cleaner away at the premises on the day of the service booking, the client agrees to pay BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE a cancellation fee of 50% of the total service charge.
  12. Making complaints:
  13. If the client is unsatisfied with the provision of services by BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE, the client must notify BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE within 5 working days of the service date in writing with evidence (Must provide the photos) . If the dissatisfaction of the client is due to a fault of BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE, then BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE will endeavour to offer the client a re-attendance of the premises to provide cleaning services to rectify the problem, free of charge.
  14. BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE endeavours to achieve a 100% customer satisfaction, however, the client acknowledges that BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE’s bond back guarantee only includes rectifying the problem, and does not include refunds.
  15. In the cases where the client has a complaint or a dispute with BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE regarding the provision of unsatisfactory services by BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE, or if the client is making a claim for damages, the client must provide/email BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE the necessary documents and written evidence as requested by BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE.  If the client does not provide BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE with the necessary requested documents within 10 business days, BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE reserves the right to close the case/dispute/complaint with the client, and in accordance with the law, the client would not be able to pursue this case further.
  16. Bond back guarantee:
  17. Our bond back guarantee is only applied to BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE customers.
  18. Clients acknowledge that our bond back guarantee is only in effect if BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE is contacted in writing within 5 working days of the performed service time and date. If BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE is contacted after that time period, then the bond back guarantee does not apply.
  19. Our bond back guarantee means that BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE will send our cleaners to the premises for a re-clean to rectify problems/issues that we have quoted on doing. It does not include any refunds.
  20. If a re-clean is required, you must notify us within 5 working days with photo evidence
  21. A list or an exit report from the agent of the property after inspection, with details of the items to be fixed, should be emailed to BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE from the client within 5 working days of the original service date, in order for the bond back guarantee to apply.
  22. From the date BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE receives the list or exit report conducted by the agent after inspection of the property, please allow sufficient time for BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE to schedule re-cleans, otherwise the bond back guarantee will not apply. More than one re-clean may be required for the property in order for the bond guarantee to apply.  If the client refuses BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE to schedule re-cleans with the client to rectify the items to be fixed, then the bond back guarantee does not apply.
  23. Re-cleans must be performed by BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE on the property for the bond back guarantee to apply.  If after the first re-clean there are still problems after the inspection, please again email us the updated agent inspection list with details of the items to be fixed and we will return to the property to do another re-clean.  If the client or agent refuses BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE to schedule another re-clean with the client to rectify the items to be fixed, then the bond back guarantee does not apply and no refund will be provided.
  24. BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE aims to achieve a level of improvement of the property, not perfection.  Properties in an unreasonable state of wear and tear condition does not qualify for the bond back guarantee.  However, BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE will endeavour to ensure the property is cleaned professionally and diligently. BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE reserves the right to determine the definition of the condition of wear and tear and also reserves the right to decide whether or not the property is deemed to meet the requirements of bond back guarantee.
  25. Our bond back guarantee only applies when our services are deemed as fully completed. BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE reserves the right to determine what services are considered fully completed.  In the case that during the provision of services BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE deemed that the cost for a fully complete service will exceed the initial price quoted by BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE, BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE will notify the client in writing.  The client may choose to pay the additional amount for a fully completed service in order to activate our bond back guarantee. Otherwise, the client may refuse to pay the additional amount and choose to pay the initial price quote, without the service deemed fully complete by BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE, and thus forfeit their claim to our bond back guarantee.
  26. The client acknowledges that the bond back guarantee applies strictly only for bond cleaning services, and not for any other services BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE provides.
  27. Breakage, damages, accidents and theft:
  28. In the event of any accidents, breakages, damages or theft to the property due to any act of the BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE cleaner, the client must inform BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE within 24 hours of completion of the service, as applicable by the law.
  29. As applicable by law, the client is not permitted to claim any loss for any of the above incidents if the incident is not reported to BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE within 24 hours of completion of the services.
  30. As applicable by law, damage or loss to the following items is excluded from liability of BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE under these terms and conditions: cash, jewellery, art, antiques and any items of sentimental value which are not limited to items mentioned here.
  31. The client understands that BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE is not liable or responsible for any damages, theft, or breakages that occur during the clean because BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE requires all of their contractors to be insured.
  32. 5. Steam Cleaning of Carpet

We don’t take any responsibility if something breaks or gets damaged due to pre-existing wear and tear, wrong installation, poor condition or old carpet. Also, we will not be responsible for discolouring of fabrics that become more visible once soil has been removed.

  1. Indemnity:daa
  2. The client indemnifies BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE against:
  1. All losses or liabilities arising directly or indirectly as a result of the breach of the responsibilities of the client as set out in clause 6.1.
  2. All legal costs such as hiring a solicitor, and any other expenses incurred by BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE and any other actions taken by BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE for the recovery of any outstanding costs owed by the client to BRIGHT N SHINE CLEANING CARE.
